The Bosch Solution SC8016 security system provides sophisticated electronic surveillance for your home or business. Incorporating the very latest in wireless communications SAFECOM®, provides a high speed packet telemetry signaling via a UHF radio link. Together, both systems provide superior reliability and performance in alarm systems. Where other systems rely solely on the telephone line to transmit signals to the alarm centre, SC8016 uses wireless telemetry signaling ensuring continuous monitoring of your system all the time. Recent times have shown an increase in the number of break and enters, and in many cases the intruders are cutting telephone lines. We feel it has become necessary for us to make you aware of the limitations of your Alarm System and also of the options available to you.

A Monitored Alarm System requires the telephone line to enable communication to the Monitoring Station Receiver. In the event of the line being cut or disconnected, no alarm signal can be transmitted and hence the Operator would be unaware if your alarm was activated. We have been forced to provide an alternative system to compete with the changing trends.

Our SUPERVISED Wireless Telemetry Signaling System is designed to provide a radio link between the Alarm Panel and the Central Monitoring Station and can be configured to transmit alarm signals within three seconds of the activation, including Telephone Line Loss report. Although Monitoring of this system is a little more expensive than Dialler Monitoring, it does not rely on your Telephone line for communication, and consequently alleviates the cost of phone calls.

Telephone Dialler Monitoring is the most commonly used system in the world and in most cases provides adequate security, but as the rate of burglaries increases, technology must also improve and it is recommended that "High Risk" premises consider upgrading to the latest system available.

Bosch Solution - 16+
